The way of the light is inward

Through ancestors

Through the strings of existence that unravel us back to source.

When we heal ourselves, we heal generational wounds.

But healing isn’t pretty. It’s full of all the things we learn forgiveness for.

We forgive- Not because we are weak but because we understand our own darkness.

I learned that it is in stillness and in the silence, in patience and in faith that we surrender to what will be.

“Hand it over to the Creator” was advice given to me by a good friend during a time of struggle.

As I took my shoes off, hugged a tree and let my sadness, anger and disappointment up and out of me, something incredible happened.

My foggy eyes cleared, my heart stopped racing. I felt the stillness and fortitude of the tree rise through me like a wave of calm. Still through seasons.

As I surrendered to the stillness, the wind whispered- Stay Still, Stay Calm, Stay Peaceful.

That is within our power, to believe, to trust, to surrender to what will be and to our own peace of mind.

Faith, stillness and gratitude for each present moment is fertile ground for abundance, for miracles and for true healing.
